Return to: New Taiwan, Ilha Formosa

Welcome to the joint website of Taiwanese organizations dedicated to human rights and democracy in Taiwan. We work for the future of our beautiful Taiwan ("Ilha Formosa") as a free, democratic and independent nation, which is accepted by the international community as a full and equal member.

Please visit our pages, and learn about Taiwan's history, people, culture, and its political system. Each of the organizations represented here is part of the Taiwanese democratic movement, which played such a key role in the transformation of the island from forty years of authoritarian KMT rule to a free and open society. Taiwan is ready to play its full role in the international community, including the United Nations. Thank you for visiting us, and we hope to see you again soon.
